Welcome to Rights of Wayfinder

Here you will find interesting, recreational rights of way in England and Wales. Not every boring footpath is included!

Wayfinder ID

Every route in Wayfinder has a WID shown like this . On the mapping screen, click the WID for more information. The graphic shows what use is permitted on the way or Status Unknown.

Click 'see more' for the detail view including any comments

Moving the map

Wherever you are on the map, click to pan the map to the nearest way to the current map position.

Navigating

When out and about in the Great British Countryside, go to the detail view and click the marker at the end of the way. Google Maps will pop up and give you instructions to reach that way on foor, riding or driving.
